About Khan Rice Mills

Founded in 1958 by the late Haji Mumtaz Ali Khan, Khan Rice Mills has grown from modest beginnings into one of Pakistan’s premier rice exporters. Originating in the fertile Sheikhupura region, the family business began with small-scale husking units before evolving into a modern enterprise equipped with fully automated, German-designed rice husking and processing plants.

With the vision and leadership of Shamshad Ali Khan, who joined the business in 1974, the company embraced cutting-edge technology in drying, polishing, grading, and milling operations. This transformation positioned Khan Rice Mills at the forefront of reducing food loss, improving yields, and ensuring superior quality rice for global markets.

Since 1991, Khan Rice Mills has been a key producer, miller, and exporter of premium rice varieties, including the world-renowned Sheikhupura Basmati rice, celebrated for its distinctive flavor, natural aroma, and long grain properties. The company’s commitment to excellence is supported by 72 acres of dedicated paddy fields, ensuring traceability and consistent quality from farm to table.

Today, Khan Rice Mills stands as a trusted name in the rice industry recognized for innovation, reliability, and a passion for delivering the finest Pakistani rice worldwide.
