In 1899, Johann Braun great-great-grandfather of Günther Braun established a family bakery in Schillingsfürst, Middle Franconia, Bavaria. For over 110 years, the bakery was successfully managed by master bakers across four generations. In the fifth generation, master baker and business economist Günther Braun chose to transition from baking to wholesale, founding GB-Foods GmbH in Schillingsfürst, specializing in seeds. Drawing on decades of expertise in both artisan and industrial bakeries, the company understands the importance of quality raw seeds. Today, GB-Foods offers a broad selection of bakery and specialty seeds, along with nutritional supplements, available in both organic and conventional grades.
