Bayside Best Beans

Bayside Best Beans LLC was established in 1995, with its first harvest in 1996. Founded by seven original owners looking to add value to their dry bean production, the company began by acquiring a vacant milk plant in Sebewaing, Michigan, chosen for its existing infrastructure including a truck scale, load-out dock, railroad access, and indoor storage. Initially focused on vine cranberry beans, the company has expanded to process multiple varieties, with navy beans now being the largest.

Today, Bayside Best Beans can store, process, and ship over 800,000 hundredweight of dry edible beans globally. The facility operates two processing lines equipped with advanced machinery such as electric eye sorters and polishers. The company specializes in exporting at least four bean commodities worldwide and is committed to delivering the highest quality beans, proudly standing behind every shipment.
