Trianon Spices BV

The origins of Trianon trace back to a consulting visit to Tanzania, where Dutch spice specialist Paul de Rooij met his former partner Edward. With a strong background in the spice industry including leadership roles in the Dutch Spice Association, business ventures in Indonesia and Sri Lanka, and serving as managing director at Verstegen Paul saw great promise in Tanzanian spices, cultivated in ideal climates using organic methods. Motivated by the opportunity to support local communities through a spice-focused business, Paul and Edward joined forces to establish Trianon's factory in Lusanga village, located north of Muheza City in the Tanga region.
