Elmar began as a local herbal tea producer in 1990, founded by Madam Nguyen Thi Tam. In its early years, the business focused on manufacturing herbal products such as powders, dried teas, and packaged retail teas. Initially managed solely by Madam Tam, a small team was gradually formed to support administration, warehousing, and distribution. By 1994, Elmar’s herbal products were being distributed to over 20 provinces in northern Vietnam. Over time, Elmar gained a strong reputation for offering innovative and high-quality spices, herbs, and dehydrated vegetables. Operating from a factory certified by FDA, ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, and SSL, the company is committed to supplying premium nutraceuticals and botanicals. Since 2018, under the leadership of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, the second generation, Elmar has expanded internationally, exporting cinnamon, star anise, and other dehydrated agricultural products to more than 20 countries across Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, and Asia.
