Since 1989, THEPISTACHIOCO. has been engaged in the production and global marketing of pistachios. Its facility stands as the result of over 30 years of worldwide expertise. Built with a strong emphasis on food safety and strict quality control, THEPISTACHIOCO. has developed a world-class processing plant that meets the highest international standards. The company's founder, Denis Ketabi, began working in the pistachio trade in the late 1980s. Faced with the challenge of meeting increasing demands for both volume and quality, Denis chose to move upstream—investing in processing and production on a global scale. His leadership roles, including serving as Chairman of the dried fruit and nut sector in France and representing the EU industry before the European Commission, sharpened his view of food safety as the cornerstone of the pistachio trade. Prior to establishing THEPISTACHIOCO.'s current facility—now the largest and most advanced processing plant outside the U.S.—Denis successfully designed and built multiple other processing operations.
