Molino Peila has been transforming cereals into flour and semi-finished products for over 90 years with passion, intelligence, and dedication to offering the best to its customers. Founded in 1924 and continuously owned by the Peila family, the company has grown from a small craft mill into a leading industrial player in the gluten-free raw materials market. Today, Molino Peila is well-equipped to meet the needs of both national and international customers.
In the mid-1800s, a mill was established in Gallenca, located in the municipality of Valperga (TO). On July 17, 1924, Domenico Peila acquired the mill and continued the family legacy by producing soft wheat flour.
During the 1960s and 1970s, the Peila Mill underwent expansion and modernization under the direction of his sons. By the late 1980s, the founder's grandchildren transitioned the mill’s focus to corn milling, anticipating future growth and opportunities in that field.
