Our journey began in 1980 with the trade of figs harvested from the fertile lands of Aydın. In 2009, we expanded into the fresh fruit market from the same region and established the most advanced fresh fruit processing facility in the Aegean. At the Heart of Production... The Aydın region, stretching 35 km between Umurlu, Köşk, Sultanhisar, and Atça, is a key hub for agriculture. It produces 65,000 tons of strawberries on 12,000 decares, 25,000 tons of chestnuts on the mountain slopes of Nazilli, Beydağ, and Ödemiş, and leads the world in fig production. In 2014, after visiting the factory of our Italian customer whom we've partnered with for over two decades we founded İNSUS, Turkey’s first and only chestnut peeling and freezing facility, guided and technically supported by that customer. We soon installed IQF and peeling lines, enabling us to process 20 tons of fresh chestnuts daily, a proud achievement that distinguishes us as the sole company in Turkey serving the chestnut sector.

Previously, local strawberries unsuitable for domestic sale or export were sent to processors. Initially delivered with stems removed, they were later block-frozen before shipment. With our investment in IQF lines for frozen chestnuts, we naturally expanded to freezing other regional fruits under superior hygiene and quality standards. Building on 35 years of expertise in strawberry and chestnut farming and sales, along with deep experience in industrial processing and exports, İNSUS now sources the freshest produce from Aydın, freezes it under strict food safety protocols, and delivers it directly to producers. We grow Global GAP-certified strawberries on over 500 decares of our own land. Our close relationship with local farmers through training, consultancy, and support has been key to our success.
