The Ingrillì family, founders of Eurofood S.r.l., share a strong, long-standing connection with their homeland and the citrus fruits of Sicily a tradition that spans five generations. Their journey began in 1890, during a transformative time in Sicily when many farmers transitioned from raising silkworms to cultivating valuable citrus orchards. It was then that Giuseppe Ingrillì, the first of the Ingrillì lineage, embraced this shift by planting an entirely new crop for the region: lemons.
