About Tradin Organic B.V.
Tradin Organic Agriculture was established in the early 1980s by Wim Rabbie and Gerard Versteegh. As pioneers in the health food market, they introduced some of the first organic branded consumer products in Europe, using ingredients they sourced from exotic locations worldwide. In 1993, the company’s consumer-branded and distribution operations were discontinued, and by 1994, Tradin had shifted focus to become a specialized importer of organic ingredients for the broader organic industry.
Over time, Tradin has vertically integrated its supply chains, investing in quality control, traceability, and ensuring the integrity and security of organic products. In recent decades, the group has expanded by adding manufacturing facilities that transform raw commodities into value-added ingredients, further strengthening Tradin’s role and purpose within the organic supply chain.
