Established in Tirupati in 1980, the PLR Group began its operations by undertaking civil contracts in construction, irrigation, roadworks, and railways. By 1995–96, the company had expanded into mining activities, strengthening its foothold in both the construction and mining service industries. Over the last 20 years, PLR has gained solid expertise and recognition for building National and State Highways, along with various related infrastructure projects. Currently, PLR is handling government projects valued at ₹25,000 million, maintaining an annual turnover of over ₹2,200 million for the past three years, and exceeding ₹2,500 million in the fiscal year 2011–12.
