Guilin GFS Monk Fruit Corp. (Monk Fruit Corp.) was established in 2004 by Fusheng (Frank) Lan as a Sino-Foreign Equity Joint Venture in partnership with BioVittoria Ltd of New Zealand. From its inception, the company has been dedicated to building a world-class monk fruit supply chain, delivering premium-quality ingredients tailored for the food and beverage industry. Leveraging Mr. Lan’s expertise and the innovative work of his agronomy team in monk fruit seedling propagation and orchard management, Monk Fruit Corp. quickly became a pioneer in the industry.


It was the first to introduce commercially available tissue-cultured monk fruit seedlings and to implement minimum price contracts with growers an initiative designed to ensure supply stability and promote risk-sharing with farmers. The company’s monk fruit juice concentrate, which is naturally about 15 to 20 times sweeter than sugar, offers a low-calorie, all-natural alternative for sugar reduction. Classified as a food ingredient rather than a food additive or artificial sweetener, the concentrate holds a distinctive position in the market as a clean-label, consumer-friendly fruit juice. It enables significant reduction or even full replacement of added sugar in products.
