Our story begins in the heart of the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada, a region renowned for producing some of the finest maple syrup in the world. It was here, in 1956, that the Brien family established their maple grove—laying the foundation for a legacy steeped in tradition, innovation, and excellence.
Guided by a deep passion for maple, Richard Brien, the second generation, pioneered unique production methods that significantly enhanced product quality and consistency. Over time, the modest sugar shack evolved into one of the world’s leading processors of value-added maple products.
In 2018, leadership passed to Caroline Bordeleau and Philippe Charest-Beaudry, who have since continued to build on this rich heritage with vision and purpose.
Our mission is clear: to be the premier manufacturer of value-added maple products worldwide—leading in quality, innovation, market share, and productivity. We strive to elevate the maple category through creative product development, entrepreneurial spirit, and uncompromising quality.
To support this mission, we’ve made significant investments in production capacity and automation, helping us industrialize and scale the craftsmanship perfected over nearly 70 years.
