The Daşkan family began its commercial journey in 1980 with cotton, rice, and sultana farming, and formally established Daşkan Collective Co. in 1986. Over the years, the family expanded into cotton ginning, sultana processing, and exports, founding its first sultana factory in 1997 in Urganlı-Turgutlu, one of Turkey’s most fertile plains. With strong farmer relationships ensuring high-quality raw materials, the company quickly rose to become a leading exporter, now shipping around 20,000 tons of seedless raisins annually to global markets, especially Europe. In addition, Daşkan diversified into plastic production in 2004, supplying baskets and packaging solutions for multiple industries, and later into cold storage facilities to support the fresh fruit sector. Renamed Daşkan Agricultural and Plastic Products Inc. in 2012, the company continues to grow with advanced technology, internationally recognized certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC), and a business volume exceeding $40 million.
