About Cajou Du Centre
Created on January 20, 2015, CAJOU DU CENTER is an agro-industrial complex based in Sokodé, dedicated to the production and processing of cashew nuts. Established as a free zone company, it owns a 553-hectare cashew plantation within a total estate of 1,835 hectares and operates a processing facility with a capacity of 9,000 tonnes of raw nuts—or 1,800 tonnes of kernels—per year. The company employs 500 people, 90% of whom are women, and has implemented a strict HACCP system to ensure food safety and quality. Since 2019, CAJOU DU CENTER has been certified organic (EOS & NOP) by ECOCERT, and in 2023 it achieved BRCGS certification for global food safety standards. In addition to cashew processing, the company develops beekeeping with 1,000 hives across its plantations, enhancing pollination and producing organic cashew honey and wax, further contributing to sustainability and product diversity.
