Almendrera Del Sur

The organization was founded in Málaga in early 1977, born from the collaboration of several almond growers in the province. With support from the Provincial Delegation of Agriculture, and in response to the severe challenges facing the sector, these farmers came together to counteract market speculation by consolidating supply—aiming to better protect prices and the interests of small-scale producers. Established through the initiative of its members, this Producer Organization was designed to promote supply concentration and stabilize pricing at the production level. The overarching objective is to enhance product quality, meet consumer expectations, and ultimately increase the profitability of its members' agricultural output.
