Gustav Heess Oils

Gustav Heess is a German manufacturer and supplier of plant-based oils and fats, headquartered in Leonberg, Germany. Founded in 1897, we bring over 120 years of expertise to the vegetable oil market, serving the cosmetics, food, and pharmaceutical industries worldwide. Our product range includes more than 100 cold-pressed and refined specialty oils and fats, available in both conventional and certified organic quality. We operate our own production facilities, including Caloy and our Bischofswiesen site, and handle an annual volume of over 50,000 tonnes. With approximately 150 employees globally, we combine in-house manufacturing with an ISO 9001 certified quality management system and a DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory for fat analytics. Sustainability is integral to our operations: we follow a 'Sourcing with Respect' approach, verified externally through Sedex, TfS, and EcoVadis.
